CyHi, who was raised by strict baptist parents and was raised in a small Georgian town south of Atlanta, was forbidden from listening to hip-hop as a child.

CyHi, who was raised by strict baptist parents and was raised in a small Georgian town south of Atlanta, was forbidden from listening to hip-hop as a child. CyHi has since released five mixtapes, seemingly making up for lost time. These features include collaborations with 2 Chainz, Childish Gambino, and Yelawulf, among others. CyHi has also kept up with his talented peers in G.O.O.D. Music, making appearances on the label’s compilation album “Cruel Summer” and Kanye’s groundbreaking “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.” In addition, he has collaborated with some of the industry’s top producers, turning up on songs by Just Blaze, No ID, and even Kanye. CyHi released his most recent mixtape, “Ivy League Kickback,” in 2013, and he doesn’t seem to be slowing down. He recently finished two distinct tours and even hinted at a new G.O.O.D. music compilation. The CD he is now working on is titled “The Hardway Musical.”
