DJ Smacksilly | The Record Breaker

Jacksonville, Florida.

Anthony Williams, often known as “SmackSilly,” is not about to give up! You should either move on or get accustomed to being SMACKED SILLY!

Anthony was born on December 17, 1986, in Jacksonville, Florida; being a disc jockey was not his desired professional path. Anthony’s only goals in life as a young man were to succeed and provide for his family. In his own words, when asked how he came to be a D.J. “I became a D.J. by life.”

Even while it might seem like a standard rags to riches tale, everything that is flawed in D.J. SmackSilly’s life makes perfect logic. D.J. SmackSilly, who is from Duval County in northeastern Florida, showed many other disc jockeys in the industry that it is feasible to build a career out of “rocking the crowd” and establishing new musicians beyond stereotypes. He apologizes for interrupting anyone else’s career, but he doesn’t hold back when it comes to claiming what is properly his. While many are envious of his tale, few dare to step into his shoes.

Getting his moniker from a contentious but iconic high school tale illustrates SmackSilly’s persona in his community and the music business; it’s a topic of conversation and a prime example of hard work and deference. The official D.J. for the Bilderburg Group, Triple C’s (Maybach Music Group), and Don Logan’s DJs is SmackSilly. His other musical associations are with Cool Running D.Js and Motion Picture Music (M.P.M.).

Just six years have passed since D.J. SmackSilly began working as a disc jockey at Harley’s nightclub, yet in that time he has shot straight to success. SmackSilly secured a contract with Maybach Music Group in September 2010, seemingly landing headfirst on top of the world. It is quite uncommon for someone to achieve as much as he has in such a short period of time. Several disc jockeys with over ten years of experience in the club and underground scene have not witnessed nearly half of SmackSilly’s life.

“Real Knows Real!” The origins of this urban legislation can be found in D.J. SmackSilly’s childhood. Notable entertainment executives, gifted independent artists, and regular people make up SmackSilly’s devoted fan following, which he earned by living the example he sets as a friend, brother, businessman, and father.

SmackSilly gained notoriety in Jacksonville with his collaborations with Fireman DJs and Triple Beam, one half of the popular rap group Jim Beam. He used to command the crowds at neighborhood hangouts like Tiffany’s, Silver Fox, Plush, Icons, and Vixen, but now his calendar was packed with national tour dates with Gunplay and Maybach Music Group. He still does special nights and local indie artist showcases at venues in his area in addition to traversing the county. His great passion is bringing deserving musicians to the attention of listeners and creating unforgettable evening experiences.

Alongside many other artists, D.J. SmackSilly regularly collaborates with Balize, Loose Bills, Gondi, Jim Beam, Corey Money, Dolla, G.M.B, Keelo G, and many more. SmackSilly’s reputation has earned him stripes as one of the greatest disc jockeys to grace the business because of his unwavering work ethic.

Smacksilly has presented the #1 indie show on 105.3FM on Clear Channel Radio, which has expanded his musical repertoire. The hip-hop and urban communities were the target audience for the D.J. SmackSilly Certified Radio Show. The level-headed disc jockey was a voice for the people as he not only played the newest indie music but also shed light on pressing problems impacting the urban population.

Please don’t judge SmackSilly unfairly because his path hasn’t been without difficulties. Even if his career appeared to be taking off, a strong voice in his life was earthly suppressed. Anthony’s mother died a month after everything looked to be going well for him. He thought that she was the only one who could tell him anything, and he paid attention to her! He frequently listens to the uplifting message she left on his phone, two weeks before she passed away.

SmackSilly took his loss very hard because his mother, who reared him, served as his role model. He does, however, continue to work for his goals since he knows that his mother is extremely proud of him. Through Juana Williams Promotions (J.W. Promotions), his organization named after his mother, he honors her memory by organizing charity community events.

SmackSilly provides you with self-truth, since there is no greater truth than your own, through both his music and life. He is the happy father of a stunning daughter and a wonderful boy.
“That is who he is doing ‘this’ shit for; his children and the real people; it was a real friend that gave him a chance,” asserts SmackSilly adamantly.

SmackSilly is committed to his future while remaining faithful to his upbringing. He is currently opening up for the Don Logan DJ label while on tour with Gunplay. SmackSilly is also making other DJs seem bad. All across the world, he has consistently broken records and put out over 42 excellent mixtapes.
