YFN Lucci was born and reared in Atlanta, Georgia. He was exposed to music from artists such as Tupac, the Hot Boys, Ja Rule, Dipset, Lil’ Wayne, and Fabolous. Inspired by rapper “K,” his older brother, YFN Lucci began honing his craft at the age of sixteen after realizing he had a knack for music.

After a year, he made contact with Johnny Cinco, a fellow Atlantan rapper, who urged Lucci to pursue his skills and enter the studio. Over the years, YFN Lucci continued to hone his skills and expand his style, finally making two appearances on Johnny Cinco’s “John Popi” mixtape in 2014.

Due to the partnership, YFN Lucci’s evident talent got significant attention. Girvan “Fly” Henry, the CEO of TIG, noticed YFN Lucci’s growing popularity in the summer of 2014 and signed him to Atlanta’s fastest-rising independent label.

At TIG, YFN Lucci joins a stellar cast of performers that includes Rich Homie Quan and Trinidad James. Lucci has been on a constant tour for the past six months, traveling from Wisconsin to Miami, Charlotte to Houston, following the publication of his mixtape, which received over a million views on Live Mixtapes. He works in the studio with producers Spiffy, Fresh Jones, and Sonny Digital when he’s not there.

YFN Lucci creates a distinctive sound with a hint of southern charm with his inventive singing and poetry. With his fresh music and vibrant images, there seems to be no stopping this budding hip-hop artist. His songs “Know No Better” and “I Wonder Why” are currently playing on the radio. You can get the “Wish Me Well” EP right now on iTunes.

On February 16, 2016, Lucci’s birthday, Wish Me Well 2 was released. It had all new songs, such as “YFN,” “Boss,” “Destined,” and “Key to the Streets” featuring Migos and Trouble.
